What it will be about:

Roman Chvilcek (ČSOB) will outline ČSOB’s sustainability vision through its sustainably built headquarters, with a strong focus on green roofs. He will explain the key drivers behind the initiative and share the most important operational lessons from the perspective of a finance company.

Doris Schnepf (Green 4 Cities) will introduce impact-based financing, focusing on impact bonds and blended finance in the EU LIFE project ImpaQt, and how these tools can help fund and scale urban nature-based solutions.

Andreas Türk (Invest4Nature) will present the EU Horizon project Invest4Nature, which will aim to make nature-based solutions financially viable and scalable by demonstrating their economic value and attracting both public and private investment.

This webinar is organised within the framework of the GoNaturePositive! project and directly contributes to the implementation of the Roadmap for a Nature-Positive Built Environment: particularly addressing financing and cost barriers, scalability of solutions, and the need for measurable impact – it brings together key actors from finance, business, and innovation to explore how nature-based solutions can be effectively delivered and scaled in practice
