EFB webinar “Ecosystem Services of Green Roofs and Possibilities for Their Economic Assessment”
The European Federation of Green Roof and Living Walls Associations (EFB) represents the umbrella organisation for all Green Roof and Wall Associations in Europe. Our goal is to spread awareness and available information about green roofs and walls. Therefore, we launched an online webinar series touching upon various topics related to green roofs and walls that are relevant all around Europe. We want to motivate municipalities, decision-makers and policymakers, city partners, and other important stakeholders to make cities greener and create awareness for this important topic.

The webinar “Ecosystem Services of Green Roofs and Possibilities for their Economic Assessment” took place on the 21st of February 2024 at 4 p.m. (CET)
The webinar addresses the topic of real costs, long-term benefits, and feasibility of green roofs, emphasizing economic assessments and how some of the ecosystem services of green roofs can be expressed in monetary units. This is an opportunity to learn from Czech and Portuguese case studies and discover why such evaluations are crucial for green roof implementation.
