The green roof market grew by more than 17% between 2022 and 2023. Last year, around 10,191,000 square metres of roof area were newly greened in Germany. These figures are just a really small insights into the current data from the ‘BuGG Green Building Market Report 2024’. It also includes the topics ‘Subsidies for green roofs and façades as well as unsealing and courtyard greening’ and ‘Research and teaching’.
