As part of the online seminar series, the webinar “Do’s & Don’ts for Green Walls” took place on the 15th of February 2023.
At this webinar, two experienced EFB experts shared their practical tips for green wall installation and how to avoid mistakes, made by incorrect design, installation, or maintenance.

Gary Grant is the Director of the Green Infrastructure Consultancy, which works on policy, planning, design, implementation and management of green infrastructure. Gary is lead author of Natural England’s recently published Green Infrastructure Guidance.
For the seminar, Gary considered how, what and why principles of creating green walls and the do’s and don’ts, including some case studies.
Stefan Zeller is a consultant with the German Building Greening Association BuGG (Bundesverband GebäudeGrün e. V.). He focusses on publicly funded programmes, training and lecturing. Stefan has worked in the urban greening industry since 2003.
In the webinar, Stefan showed the different types of facade greening and discussed important planning principles. He also explained how to avoid common mistakes
