As part of the online seminar series the EFB gave an overview of different mistakes that can be made when planning green roofs.

To secure high quality in planning, building and maintaining green roofs, transferring know-how is very important. Green roofs have been around for a very long time. Nevertheless, mistakes are sometimes made by:

  • Requirements not met
  • Design and planning mistakes
  • Installation problems
  • Maintenance issues

Two experienced experts from the Czech Republic and Belgium report from their practice on mistakes that have been made so that others can learn from these bad examples.
