The Ukrainian Association of Green Infrastructure (UAGI)
The Ukrainian Association of Green Infrastructure (UAGI) is a non-governmental organisation that brings together landscape industry experts, scientists and enthusiasts working to create sustainable cities through greening urban areas. The Association was founded on 5 September 2023 to combine the international experience of partners with the practical skills of Ukrainian landscape industry professionals and scientists. The main activities of the Association are represented by 4 goals through the introduction of green technologies and best landscape practices in Ukraine:
- Post-war reconstruction of green infrastructure
- Dissemination of the world’s best practices
- Organisation of conferences and trainings
- Connecting science with practice
We strive to change the urban environment by building green infrastructure and promoting the sustainable development of modern cities using the formula ‘best international practices and innovations of landscape industry experts + scientific discoveries’. Our motto is @connecting_green_minds.
