DESCRIPTION:European Business & Nature Summit 2025 – Registration will open on July 14th. \nJoin the 2025 edition of the European Business and Nature Summit (EBNS) – Driving business competitiveness and resilience with nature. On 23-24 October in Helsinki\, Finland\, participants will embark on a journey to drive transformative actions towards a nature-positive future. If you are interested in participating in EBNS 2025\, register from Monday 14 July! \nWelcome to the 2025 edition of the European Business and Nature Summit (EBNS)\, a conference organised by the European Business & Biodiversity Platform. This year’s EBNS is set to inspire and mobilise the European business and finance community to drive business competitiveness and resilience with nature. \nFor this edition\, the summit heads to Helsinki\, Finland. Organised in collaboration with Sitra\, the Finnish Innovation Fund\, the event unites forward-thinking industries\, financial institutions and policymakers. It will provide a forum for high-level dialogues and in-depth ‘boots on the ground’ discussions alike. For one and a half days\, participants will embark on a journey to drive transformatie actions towrads a nature-positive future. \nTo drive business success with nature\, EBNS will focus around three themes: \n–       Business Action: How to enable and accelerate credible and effective business action and transformation? \n–       Circular and Bioeconomy: How can businesses leverage the potential of circular solutions and the bioeconomy to contribute to a nature positive future? \n–       Biodiversity Finance: How to rapidly accelerate the alignment of financial flows with biodiversity targets and support companies in their transformation? \nHalfway to 2030\, we realise we have to step up. New global realities put additional pressure on our ambitious agenda to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals\, and halt and reverse nature loss. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with change-makers across Europe\, learn about tangible actions to restore and protect biodiversity\, and contribute to building a nature-positive future! \nRegistration for attending EBNS 2025 will be open from Monday 14 July until Friday 5 September 2025. \nStay tuned for more information on EBNS 2025 in the coming weeks! SUMMARY:Nature Futures 25
DESCRIPTION:More info and registration: https://naturebasedenterprise.com/networks/events/191849 \nNature Futures ‘25 marks the third edition of our annual horizon-scanning event for nature-based enterprises\, with a renewed focus on growth\, innovation and collaboration.. Bringing together over 300 NBEs and support organisations\, it has become the “go-to” event to spot trends\, share expertise\, and explore new opportunities. \n\nThis year\, we are focusing on new opportunities for financing nature and the importance of multi-actor collaboration for scaling and impact. \n\nWhy  Nature Futures?\nNature-based solutions (NbS) and Nature-based Enterprises (NbEs) have a vital role in a Nature-Positive Economy. Nature-Based Enterprises (NbEs) are at the heart of a global transition to a nature-positive economy\, delivering solutions in regenerative farming\, green infrastructure\, and ecosystem restoration. Demand is rising fast: globally\, NbS could create 32 million jobs by 2030 (UNEP\, 2024)\, yet in the EU alone\, there is a €37 billion annual financing gap for biodiversity goals (European Commission\, 2025). To meet this demand\, NBEs need capital\, supportive policy\, and strong markets to scale viable solutions. Events like Nature Futures are crucial in facilitating the closure of this gap\, bringing business\, finance\, and policymakers together to unlock new opportunities and inform the supply side (NBEs)  on the growing demand for nature-based solutions. \n\n\nDate: 12th November\, 2025 \n\n\nTime: 14:00 – 15:30 CET \n\n\nMode:  Online \nRegistration: https://naturebasedenterprise.com/networks/events/191849 \nWe have Brian Tsuyoshi Takeda\, Co-Founder\, Restorae\, as our keynote speaker. Brian Tsuyoshi Takeda is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Restorae\, dedicated to restoring marine ecosystems at scale. He previously founded Urchinomics\, a pioneering venture that turns overgrazing sea urchins into premium seafood while regenerating kelp forests. Recognised by the UN Ocean Decade and awarded “Ecopreneur of the Year” by Salesforce\, Brian brings a track record of blending ecological restoration with innovative business models. He also serves as Head of Reforestation at the Kelp Forest Foundation\, a Netherlands-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing kelp research and restoration globally. He is also involved with the Japan Blue Economy Association\, advancing blue credit markets and ocean restoration worldwide. \nWe have a panel on ‘Investing in Nature’s Start-ups: Financing NBEs for Growth’ with Zoe Peden (Ananda Impact Ventures)\, Thomas Gmeiner (Brainforest Nature Accelerator)\, Thomas Van Craen (Triodos Bank Belgium)  and Ciaran Forde (Wilderway). The session will be moderated by Siobhan McQuaid (Horizon Nua & Trinity College Dublin).  \nWe also have a fireside chat\, Re-imagining Construction for a Nature-Positive Future\, featuring two nature-based enterprises\, SingularGreen and Green4Cities\, focused on integrating architecture and nature to develop urban green infrastructure and sustainable cities. \n  \n \n  \n\n
