The Austrian Metabuilding Platform is released now!

The innovation ecosystem of the EU-funded project METABUILDING was presented on the 30th of March 2023 at the BAUZ! Congress for sustainable building.

the presentation there were the following:

  • the Innovation LABs in Austria by Susanne Formanek from RENOWAVE and GRÜNSTATTGRAU
  • the new Metabuilding innovation platform by Claudia Hunziker from NOBATEK/INEF4
  • success stories from Metabuilding network – Winners of the METABUILDING SEED/GROW/HARVEST call – through poster, whiteboard and presentation by Alexnder Juranek from farmNOW
  • the follow-up project Metabuilding LABS by Matej Banozic from AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH
  • the network European Federation of Green Roof and Living Wall Associations by Tetiana Konchenko from EFB
  • the activities of ECTP – The European Construction, built environment and energy efficient building Technology Platform (ECTP) and Built4People by Alain Zarli from ECTP

Step-by-step guide

METABUILDING is a three-year EU innovation project under Horizon 2020, funded by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).

15 European partners join forces to support SMEs from 6 European countries to bring innovation into the ‘traditional’ construction sector value chain and extend it to other sectors to create an extended industrial sector for the built environment that will enable these SMEs allows to internationalize their activities and reach European markets.
